Every Plaud device includes the Starter Plan at no extra cost. This gives you 300 transcription minutes each month from day one, so you can start capturing, transcribing, and summarizing conversations the moment you open the box with no subscription required.

Your Plaud subscription gives you access to Plaud Intelligence — a complete workflow layer built on top of the recorder:

• AI transcription in 112 languages, with speaker identification and high accuracy across accents and environments
• Multidimensional summaries and 10,000+ professional templates tailored for meetings, interviews, calls, consultations, and more
• Ask Plaud — search and query across all your recordings using natural language
• AutoFlow — automated follow-ups, action items, and exports
• Latest AI models — including GPT-5.5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and more, updated as new models are released
• Private cloud sync — Cloud storage with access across Plaud App, Web, and Desktop

Both plans include the full Plaud Intelligence feature set. The core difference is transcription capacity:

• Pro Plan — 1,200 minutes (20 hours) per month. For professionals with regular meetings and calls throughout the week.
• Unlimited Plan — up to 24 hours per day. For users whose work depends heavily on conversations: doctors, lawyers, journalists, sales professionals, and others in high-volume recording workflows.

A simple way to decide: If your monthly recording volume exceeds 20 hours, upgrading to the Unlimited Plan is the most cost-effective choice.

Yes. Plaud Team is a dedicated plan for teams that need shared AI-powered recording workflows with centralized management.

• Centralized management. Admins can manages seats, billing, and devices for the team.
• Access all features. Every seat up to 24 hours of daily transcription, Plaud Intelligence, and access to the newest AI models.
• Separate team workspace. Securely share files in a shared team workspace while maintaining personal privacy. Each recordings remain strictly private unless explicitly shared.

Choosing annual billing offers significant savings compared to monthly billing:

• Pro Plan: $11.42/month on annual billing vs. $24.98 billed monthly (54% in savings).
• Unlimited Plan: $29.17/month on annual billing vs. $39.98 billed monthly (27% in savings).
• Team Plan: $83/user/month on annual billing vs. $130/user/month billed monthly with the launch offer ending August 31, 2026. $103.75/user/month on annual billing vs. $162.5/user/month billed monthly thereafter.

The annual plan is the most cost-effective choice. If you're just starting out, the monthly plan offers maximum flexibility with zero long-term commitment. You can upgrade to annual billing anytime within the Plaud App for individual plans, and on web.plaud.ai for Team plan.

No. Transcription minutes reset at the start of each billing month and unused minutes do not carry over. This applies across all plans: 300 minutes on Starter, 1,200 minutes on Pro, and up to 24 hours per day on Unlimited and Team.

If you regularly run out before the month ends, you can upgrade your plan or purchase a one-time Extra Minutes top-up (available in 600, 3,000, or 6,000-minute packages) without changing your current plan.

Yes. Only transcription pauses. Your recordings and all other features keep working normally. You can still:

• Record audio normally
• Play back existing recordings
• Manage files and use Private Cloud Sync

Transcription resumes automatically when your minutes reset at the start of your next billing cycle, or as soon as you add more minutes.

For Individual Plans: Plan changes are managed through the Plaud App. If you purchased through the App Store or Google Play, plan changes must be made through the same channel — subscriptions across different purchase platforms cannot be transferred or converted. Upgrades take effect immediately, with the unused value from your current plan applied as a credit toward the new plan cost. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

For Plaud Team: Seat and billing changes are managed by the team admin through the admin console. Plaud Team cannot be upgraded from or converted to an individual subscription. Adding seats takes effect immediately; removing seats takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Your service stays active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after cancellation. The process depends on where you originally purchased:

• App Store (iOS): Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Plaud → Cancel Subscription
• Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Plaud → Cancel
• Plaud Web: Visit Stripe → Sign in with the email you used for purchase, and complete verification → Open “My Subscriptions” or “Billing” → Select “Cancel Subscription”
• Plaud.ai Store: Log in → My Account → Manage Subscription → Cancel
• Plaud Team: Only the team admin can cancel. Go to Admin Settings → Billing & Plan → Cancel subscription. All Members retain access until the end of the current billing period

Refunds. To request a refund, contact our after-sales support team at support@plaud.ai. Our team will review your request based on our current refund policy. For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, refunds are processed directly by Apple — please contact Apple Support.

For paid individual plans (Pro/Unlimited), your recordings and transcriptions are not deleted when you cancel. After your subscription ends, your account reverts to the Starter Plan — you can still access all your existing recordings and transcriptions.

For Plaud Team, your workspace and existing files will continue to be accessible after your subscription ends.
