Built for Vietnam’s long, multilingual meetings, Plaud’s AI-powered work companions help Vietnamese professionals turn conversations into actionable insights and finished work, as the company targets over one million users in the country by 2030.
HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – 27 October 2026 – Plaud, the company building AI work companions for the way people think, meet and work, today announced its official launch in Vietnam with Plaud Note Pro and Plaud NotePin S, its sixth market in Southeast Asia. The launch comes as Plaud surpasses three million users worldwide, with Vietnam emerging as a promising growth market.

Demand for Plaud in Vietnam has been building ahead of its local launch, with Plaud users in the country nearly tripling year on year from September 2025 to September 2026.
Much of that demand comes from professionals in manufacturing and technology, the two largest industries among Plaud’s Vietnamese users, where work often means long, detailed discussions with regional and international partners. Vietnam ranks third among 12 Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets for typical meeting length and second in Southeast Asia, with one in three Plaud recordings running over an hour. Those conversations also cross languages: only about one in three recordings is in Vietnamese and around 30% are in English, with the rest in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian and other languages, making Vietnam APAC’s most multilingual Plaud market.
Together, these signals point to a clear opportunity in Vietnam for AI-powered productivity tools. As professionals navigate long, information-heavy meetings across multiple languages, Plaud turns discussions into structured summaries and actionable insights, helping them stay present in the conversation rather than note-taking.
“Vietnam is already showing strong demand for AI that fits naturally into the way professionals work,” said Megumi Yoshinaga, Head of APAC & MEA Marketing, Plaud. “Our goal is to give people back more of their time. By reducing the time spent taking notes, transcribing conversations and managing follow-up work, AI can create more room for better decisions, collaboration and the work that requires human judgment.”
Vietnam is one of Plaud’s six priority Southeast Asian markets, alongside Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia. Looking ahead, the company aims to surpass one million users in Vietnam by 2030, a key step towards its goal of 10 million users across APAC.
Plaud’s AI Devices to Support Vietnamese Professionals at Work
Plaud’s presence in Vietnam comes as professionals are rapidly embracing AI while facing growing pressures on time and productivity. PwC’s Global Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey 2025 found that 83% of Vietnamese employees use AI in their jobs, with 38% using generative AI daily - more than twice the global average. Yet Microsoft’s 2025 Work Trend Index found that 84% of Vietnamese workers feel they do not have enough time or energy to complete their work, while 67% of leaders say productivity needs to increase. This gap between rapid AI adoption and the growing demands of modern work highlights the need for tools that help professionals capture, organize and act on information more efficiently.
Plaud is designed to address that need by combining purpose-built devices with AI that turns conversations into structured summaries and actionable insights.
Plaud Note Pro is a slim credit card-sized device that captures both phone calls and in-person conversations, allowing users to stay present in a discussion without taking notes. It attaches magnetically to the back of a MagSafe-compatible smartphone and supports Multimedia Input, which lets users mark important moments, decisions, or insights as they happen, to add context and enrich their summaries.
Plaud NotePin S is a wearable device that can be worn as a necklace, clip, wristband, or pin. It is designed for on-the-go work such as meetings, interviews, consultations, and fieldwork.

Plaud NotePin S, shown here clipped to a collar, is small and lightweight enough to wear all day.
Both devices are designed for professionals whose work depends heavily on meetings and conversations, including executives, lawyers, consultants, sales professionals, journalists, educators and SME founders. Plaud also supports direct transcription in more than 112 languages, including Vietnamese, with users able to select their preferred language for both transcription and summaries.
In Vietnam, Plaud’s devices are now available for purchase through offline retailers including Clickbuy and CellphoneS, and e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, and Plaud’s Southeast Asia website. Plaud Note Pro is priced at VND 5,790,000 and NotePin S at VND 5,490,000.
Plaud Intelligence Moves From AI Note-Taking to Agentic AI Platform
Alongside its hardware, Plaud is also launching the latest version of Plaud Intelligence in Vietnam - enabling users to turn captured conversations into finished, ready-to-share work.
At its core is Plaud Agent, an AI agent that understands the context and intent of a user’s request, then completes the work. After a meeting, users can ask it to generate a PowerPoint deck or Word document, draft a follow-up message in Slack, or update a project tracker in Notion. Because Plaud Agent draws on what has been discussed, it begins every task with full context and becomes more effective the more it is used.
For recurring work, users can apply Skills, so a task is done the same way every time, or set up Routines to run them automatically on a schedule or trigger.

Plaud’s interface is redesigned for the agentic era: generate finished work, set up a Routine, add a Skill, or connect tools like Slack and Notion – all in a few taps.
Through the Ask Plaud feature, users have two ways to engage with Plaud Agent: Chat and Work. Chat mode answers quick questions in a conversational format. Work mode completes tasks such as drafting a follow-up email, a client report or a presentation deck. Users review all outputs before anything is sent or posted.

Ask Plaud now offers two modes: Chat for quick answers, and Work for getting things done.
Plaud’s expansion into Vietnam reflects its mission to Amplify Human Intelligence by helping professionals capture, structure and act on the intelligence generated through conversation.
